Amy here! I was contacted by the artist on Peril #26, A Way With Words, and learned that there was a revised ending and two new images for the story! I'm a huge fan of Dawn Meadows, and even I had no idea! So, please click over and enjoy a revised ending with two more illustrations. Thanks to Hippo2 for calling my attention to the oversight!

Hello! This is Amy, the new webmistress for Perils of Dawn! Since you are here, you presumably know that this site is now back on the internet, ready to entertain you once again with the misadventures of Dawn Meadows! Everything from the old page is back up, but now with a snazzy new design. And there's a new addition: Every peril now has a comment box at the bottom, where you can leave your thoughts on the story, the art, Dawn, or whatever you like. This site is always a work-in-progress, so if you see something that doesn't work right, please e-mail me at amy@amystories.net. Hello again! It's update time again and today is kind of a fun one because it's a little bit of variety, and why not? It's the 30th Peril of Dawn! Not only do we have a new peril, but we've got some new artwork for an old story and a new welcome page peril for Dawn. To start with, Louisblack78 joins us again with his 3rd gallery, specializing in Dawn's teenage years on the latest peril Field Tripping. I'm also excited to introduce the new artist Gregb133 to the Perils of Dawn and his exciting photo work on the old story Pipe Nightmares! And to sweeten today's update just a little bit more, the welcome page gets a little face lift by the work of Aeolus06. Dawn is no stranger to cleaning her undies, but not usually while she's still in them! Hope everyone enjoys today's updates, as always, keep the mail rolling in with your comments and input. Excitement lies ahead for poor Miss Meadows :)
Wow, three updates in one week! Am I feeling okay? Just kidding, I'm trying to make myself feel better while I make up for skipping out on 6 months of NO updates. That, and I seem to write while I have the inspiration. I do my best folks. Now, today we are joined by yet another new artist to the universe Perils of Dawn. Please welcome Kittifiedmeow as her artwork accompanies Dawn on an early days misadventure, My Colleague Wagers. This one was fun as a classic Dawn peril. She's sure good at one thing over and over again, and I'll let you all figure out what that is. Some of you were kind enough to write in with some helpful edits on my story continuity details. For that, I cannot thank you enough, and hope those helpful emails keep rolling in. As usual, I hope that you can enjoy the new artist, and the accompanying story. We are back again with yet another new peril for everyone's favorite and foolish reporter. Today we joining Dawn Meadows in the misadventure Deadly Seduction featuring the lavish artistic talents of Nippy13. While many of Dawn's perils are walk a fine line between the grim and darkly humorous, I should remind everyone that it's all about weaving suspenseful tales full of all elements of a tale: mystery, suspense, horror, intrigue, betrayal, and yes even some humor, dark as it may be. That said, today's peril pushes the boundaries a little further than some of the others. You could say it's a little bit more violent and features more adult language and situations than previously encountered in the Perils of Dawn. That said, if you're an adult, you should be fine. And for those who are fans of my new attempts of continuity, you can rejoice in the fact that this tale is a continuation of the previous peril A Charitable Plunge which featured the artwork of Sofyan. As always in my "sequel" stories, it is assumed that Dawn defeated the villain in the last story instead of meeting her own demise. She HAS put away lots of bad guys, you know. How else could she have become the star reporter for the Rose Tribune? Anyways, feel free to catch up on that tale before enjoying the new one. Hello everyone. Back again with another update. We're joined today again by an old regular around here at the Perils of Dawn. Mistytang brings her devilishly delightful artwork to Dress to Impress. As usual, Dawn is up to her usual fashion high-jinx set against the backdrop of a deep dark mystery. Will she finally stop the bad guys? Will she finally go on a date with Danny? Will she finally stop cheaping out on drugstore nylons? Read the tale to find out what happens to the intrepid Dawn Meadows. We are back again with yet another new artist submitting his work to the Perils of Dawn. This time around we are joined by Hippo2 a prolific magical genie artist of the Deviant Art community. He lent his artwork to the latest peril A Way With Words where Dawn meets danger on her latest case. I hope you enjoy, and as always, thanks again for the support. Dawn needs all she can get! See, I told you I wouldn't be gone for good. Well, I seem to either update often or not at all. I'm very excited to be doing this update because it is the 25th Peril of Dawn!!! Yay!!! It may not sound like much, but for this personal project, it's a milestone for me. I've been happy to share all of Dawn's perils with everyone so far, and I look forward to more. Speaking of the special 25th peril, I wanted to specially introduce a new and very talented artist for this particular peril. HollyBell has lent her extensive talent to Tomb Raiders. On another random note, for any of you reading these crazy updates, I'm on the lookout for anyone interested in contacting me about random edit work on my stories so far. I'm very interested in keeping the continuity faithful across stories, and enjoy tying things together so that the Dawn Meadows universe grows bigger and bigger with greater character development and relationships, and repeat dastardly villains across multiple stories. So if Dawn dates Danny in one story, that has to match up with details that might coincide with another, or if Hannah has red hair in one story, and brown in another, that's wrong! So, if any of you nuts out there are detail fiends, and want to spam me with emails about keeping the details straight, I'm always looking for that help. Just try to let me know the what/when/where details so I know how to go about fixing it, or adding something. Thanks again for reading!

Ahem, I seem to get used to saying things like this, but... is anybody still out there? For those of you that are, thanks for sticking around this long. For those that happen upon this update and are surprised but happy to see it, thanks to you too. I wish I didn't wait this long between updates as you all deserve to see Dawn is as much peril as possible. She certainly has hose for danger. This time around we're joined by an old friend, LouisBlack78 in another teenage peril Shocking Behavior. This is the 2nd time that he's pitted the teenage version of Dawn against the dangers of being a plucky reporter. Keep the energy alive, and keep your emails rolling on all things Dawn. I always enjoy reading your questions/comments/criticisms. Thanks again for being around :)

Man, Dawn cannot get a break this month! I hope that's a good thing for fans of the site. Today we are honored to be joined once again by one of the most talented and main artists at the Perils of Dawn! Madmoiselleclau is back to deliver ocean side perils in Diving Lesson where we get to see just how surprising and dangerous a little swim can be. Things are never that simple in the escapades of Dawn Meadows. As usual, her editor, Mr. O'Neil, heels, and hose lead to awful snags for the plucky sleuth. Enjoy the story and artwork and be sure to keep your eyes on Madmoiselleclau's ever growing gallery over at Deviant Art. She loves your feedback, as do I. Back again so soon with more October peril. This time I am super excited to announce we are joined the latest addition to the super talented artists of Dawn Meadows. TwiggyMcBones lends her vast and visual concept to the cartoony and often macabre situations that Dawn finds herself in. In the peril Leave No Stone Unturned Dawn learns the valuable lesson of proper planning and the dangers of procrastination. Make sure to let TwiggyMcBones know how much you love having her around here at the Perils and that you want to see her return again soon for more spectacular fashion woes for the world's most endangered sleuth! Well, it's October, so I thought it might suit the Perils of Dawn to go with a little bit of Halloween flavor to the danger this time around. That and this peril takes us back to Dawn's first day as an intern at the Rose Tribune, long before she was a star reporter. She had to learn the ropes on what it took. In the peril Mountain Strawberries learns just how dangerous being a sleuth can be with marvelous artwork provided once again by Nippy13. As always, be sure to stop by his gallery and let him know what you think of his fantastic style and talent. We'll hopefully see you all again before all the pumpkins go away for the season. After all, it's too dangerous to let Dawn off this easy, right?

Horray! Today marks the addition of the 20th Peril of Dawn! I know, I know, it doesn't sound like that's much of a big deal, but for as much time, energy, and love that goes into the creation of each of her perils, it is indeed a mark in progress. I want to thank all the visitors, readers, and fans who have been with us thus far, and am proud that the 20th peril should be featured by none other than Sofyan who has been with the Perils of Dawn since day one. Please join me in celebrating his fantastic artwork and my story in A Charitable Plunge.

So the website got a little bit of a revamp, and it's a little bit easier to update than it used to be. Hopefully that means more updates, right? Well, I'm going to do my best. To get that started I'm bringing another new artist to great list of many that have turned poor Dawn Meadow's investigations into very dangerous perils. This time around we are joined by the very talented Nippy13 and he's launching a the peril Inside Shoes, taking place during Dawn's teenage years at the Ivy Ridge prep school. So yeah, it's been a year since my last update so I'm not even going to pretend like I have a great excuse for neglecting my poor website. If it makes any of you readers happy, I am still alive and have not given up on Dawn Meadows. It's been like 4 years now and she's come a long way. This time around you've probably noticed a little update in the site design. It wasn't all together by choice. My old computer died and something got screwed up in the program that I was using to create the old site, so as not to ramble on too much, I had to kind of start things from scratch. Anyhow, I hope the new format works, and I apologize for the under construction feeling as I get things under control. It wouldn't be an update without a new peril though, so I'm proud to post the new peril "Stealing is Wrong" with more magnificent art by Madmoiselleclau. As always enjoy, and I'll tease you all with the fact that there are no less than 10 more perils on the burner, so Dawn Meadows should see much danger over the next year. I hope you'll all stick with her! Thanks.
