155. Return to the Conservatory

Amy decides to check out the conservatory. “Maybe I missed something when I was there last time?” She creeps in cautiously, closes the door behind her, then turns around and lets out a shriek.

“EEEEEEEK!” She sees a shadowy figure leaning against the back wall. He has dark hair and wears a leather traveling cloak, the hood pulled over his head. His clothes are simple, a red shirt and blue pants, but look distinctly medieval. He looks down at the ground, but Amy's scream causes him to look up and flash a mysterious grin. Amy struggles to cover her nakedness with her arms.

“Well, what a lovely lady you are. And what brings you to this sanctuary of music?”

“Well, I, um, that is-” Amy blushes bright red, unable to have a real conversation while at such a sartorial disadvantage.

“Perhaps you came to hear a song?” from out of his cloak the man pulls a long wooden instrument. Amy thinks it may be a clarinet, but is too distracted to pay much attention.

“Gosh, I, I should probably be going...”

“So soon?” he steps forward, “but what will it cost you to stay for just one song?”

What should Amy do?

Leave
