176. Return to the Statue Garden
Amy decides to go back out to the statue garden. Maybe she missed something. “After all,” she reasons, “I did find a pretty kick-ass sword out there. Maybe there are other weapons scattered around.” Amy wanders cautiously through the statues, on the lookout for any other dangerous creatures that may leap out at her. After a while she comes to a variety of statues of different composition than the early stone ones. Some are made of alabaster, others marble, others gold, others, strangely, latex. Finally she comes to a group of glass statues.
Amy stops to admire the exquisite craftsmanship of these glass statues. The way they catch and reflect the scant light, creating prisms and flares, is mesmerizing. Amy takes a moment to marvel at their beauty before moving on.
As she does, though, a small object catches her eye. On the ground is a tiny glass cylindrical object, carefully molded with horizontal ridges. One end tapers to a point, while the other has a bit of a flared base. Amy quickly recognizes it as a glass dildo, the kind she'd seen at the occasional sex shop she'd visited (“On the exceptionally rare times that I have visited a sex shop!” she justifies to herself) being sold for way more money than Amy could afford.
“Maybe I should take it. After all, I've been collecting all sorts of other items, and this could, ah, prove useful in my adventures ahead.”
