84. Herbivore???
In the interest in advancing her quest, saving time, and potentially the lives of everyone in Tamir, Rosella nobly climbed
out the window onto the thick growth of vines that lead up the castle wall. Slowly but surely she climbed hand over hand
up the tangled ladder. Had her arms and legs not been so skinny, she might have faired better, but Rosella could not
be described as a strong young lady. If only she had been wise enough to assess this fact before she committed
herself to a free climb up the face of a castle wall that overlooked a deep abyss. As her wobbly limbs burned with
exhaustion, the princess began to whimper at her predicament. It appeared as though her thoughtless actions had yet
again gotten the better of her, but this time it would cost her 17 year old life a grisly fall into the endless abyss below.
Just as Rosella’s overestimated limbs gave out, she mentally prepared herself for what it would be like to break on the
rocks below, but that was not to be her fate today. As she free fell down the castle wall, winds whipping at her long
blonde hair and flowing red skirt, Rosella never anticipated the true nature of the vines. Not until she landed in the
waiting mouth of a giant plant head! She was served a dish of shock, surprise, and terror, while the giant plant was
served one delicious and feisty princess as noted by her wildly kicking legs sticking out of its massive mouth. In their
white stockings, they resembled two curvy candy canes that a mischievous child had licked off the swirling red stripes.
Only this plant was too impatient to even lick his newly “caught” candy, and he eagerly crunched away at the sugary
goodness that only a princess could be. Princess Rosella could have used a little more patience and taken the long
road in castle. She could have avoided yet another dinner date that never leaves room for seconds!
