Wow, 28 months.  Any readers still out there?  LOL.  I wouldn't blame you if you
weren't.  Well, this update is to sort of say that the site is still up and I'm looking to
give it a little love again.  The first thing I've done is to finally put the old geocities
pages to bed, and get all of story pages onto the perilsofdawn.com domain.  In the
process I tried to clean up any strange/odd/broken links that I could find.  It did occur
to me in this process that my adventure might have proven difficult or even impossible
to complete with the links provided.  I hope that I have corrected this mess through
my edit process, but as always, please email me any corrections needed you may
come across.  My next statement is to say that, given the long break in my writing,
and how I left story, it will probably pick up with a "Chapter IV" where readers will get
to take on the climax/conclusion of the adventure and things can really heat up.  My
last note is on the forum.  It seems that over time, it has become flooded with spam
users, and while the fake users are unable to post, there is an outlandish number of
members who do not really exist.  That said, if any interested folks are interested in
becoming members of the forum, please shoot me an email along with your
registration saying something along the lines of "hey let me in, i am a real person!"  As
always, I hope that everyone is well and still enjoys the fashion perils of our favorite
princess.  More to come!

Hello again.  Just a quick update to let you know that I've created a
discussion all things perilous and Rosella!  I hope it becomes a fun place to speculate
over all the dangers that Rosella has faced in all her adventures as well as future
ones.  Hope to see you all there!

March 10th, 2007

Hello everyone.  It's been almost a year since I've updated as many of you have
noticed (those of you who are still reading this I thank you so gratefully!)  I went on an
abrupt hiatus nearly a year ago needing a break from this project.  The one thing I had
not anticipated when I began, was the level of detail and consistency that was
required to write a Choose Your Own Adventure story.  It was that burden, creative
burnout and other life responsibilities that turned a "short break" into a long one.  I
have a new admiration and respect for people that update their websites daily or even
weekly with creative content!  That being said, Rosella is too dear a character to me,
and there's simply too many perils for me to just leave her perils unfinished.  So, I
post this update message for anybody still with me, that the story will be resuming
soon.  I feel that given the length in hiatus from my last update, I will break into a
clean Chapter IV as Rosella endeavors into the final installment of her return to
Tamir.  And while I have no new writing to post as of yet, it would hardly be an update
without some new content, and so I am pleased to host the wonderfully "remixed"
comics of Anne Onymous.  They have been inked and colorized by a newcomer to
Rosella's universe.  He goes by the name, The Master of Art and his work is a
pricless asset to the many wonderful artists whose work I host.  Thank you all, and
please stay tuned as we resume the conclusion of Rosella's return to Tamir!  What
will happen???  Who will prevail???  And will there be a pair of clean stockings for
Rosella at the end??? ;)

Just a small update today as I've been quite busy, but in exchange for that, today I
reveal a great secret building within the story thus far.  Also a new illustration added
to the general art section.  Enjoy!

Okay back again for some St Patrick's Day celebration and my birthday :)  We're
delving into more death and getting closer to understanding the mystery of the story
this time around.  Please enjoy a few new pages, and 1 new piece of art from

It's long overdue that I introduce the parter from my other project,
The Perils of
Dawn.  Sofyan Syarief has lended his artistic gift and wacky sense of humor to
Dawn's misadventures every step of the way.  And now it's with great honor that I can
present a new portrait of Rosella for the cover page, blending Sofyan's style with the
look of King's Quest VII.  Please feel free to email
Sofyan Syarief with your thoughts
and comments on his wonderful talents.  Please be courteous, and patient for your
replies.  Thank you and enjoy the new cover page!

I just HAD to get something up before Christmas, and I've been procrastinating this
update for long enough.  I had a lot of fun with these new pages because we get a
little more story, deal with some dark new fates, and finally meet Lolotte... sort of ;)
Also, I'm excited to present a new animation feature long aniticipated for the story,
courtesy of the Louisiana Night's talents.  Make sure to check that out in the new
Animation gallery!  Anyway, please enjoy, have a happy safe Holiday and please send
me your thoughts on the work thus far!

Okay, for any of you reading this update.  Thanks for sticking with me for a 3 month
drought.  I don't mean to toss out excuses, but I've been going through a rough time
and I strayed away from Rosella and Dawn's adventures.  Well, I'm here to say I'm
back.  I've decided that I don't always need "epic updates."  Even if I'm just adding a
page or two I figure that's better than not writing at all, right?  Anyways, things heat
up for Rosella in this update with the introduction of new characters and a few art
works.  Enjoy, and thanks for all your supportive email that helped get me back on the

Chapter 1 and all the image files onto the new site to alleviate the
bandwidth problems.  The New Perils of Rosella is now part of my new site
The Perils
of Dawn.  It's taking some time to change the pages over, so Chapter 2 & 3 are still
"piggy-backing" on the Geocities site, but the bandwidth should hold those text only
pages in the mean time.

Work has kept me away from this update, but I made sure to chock this update full of
writing.  You can look forward to 18 new pages in Chapter III, a couple new
illustrations, and a new feature page for the in story illustrations as well.  Enjoy,
because the suspense is only going to get crazier as the story reaches the climax!
See you next time!

I had not planned to take so long for this update, so for those who were waiting so
patiently, thank you.  Amount wise this is again a fairly small update, but I did throw a
crazy zinger in the story for those who like plot twists and suspense J  This update
also includes about 8 new images, including two new artists to the site.  I’d like you all
to welcome them.  Enjoy, and your comments are always welcome.  Until next time!

May 20th, 2005

This is a faster update than I’ve been doing lately but I wanted to get a jump on
Chapter III and I had a handful of new illustrations to put up including another new
artist, which brings me great excitement to reveal his work to you.  Story-wise it’s a
small update, though what I did post is deliciously full of new story element and a
teaser to the dark plot unfolding in Tamir.  Enjoy until next time!

May 12th, 2005

Update time again, and this time it’s a pretty big one.  Not only are there several new
pages posted to the story, but I’ve completed Chapter II!!!  Mix that with over a dozen
new images (including a couple from a NEW artist) in this update and I’d say it’s the
most exciting one yet!  I hope you’re all still enjoying the story as much as I am.  Your
feedback has been wonderful!  Thanks, now go check out what happens to Rosella at
the end of Chapter II! (if you can keep her alive that long).

April 25th, 2005

Okay time for another update.  This one is pretty exciting I think.  Lots of happenings
and doings in the story this time around.  Things are finally starting to take shape in
Rosella’s seemingly aimless quest and the many pages I’ve included with this update
are fraught with suspense, new items, and most importantly: PERIL!  Also included in
this update is some new artwork from a new artist!
