228. Singing Solo
Amy decides she can handle the noise. After all, she's been to her share of loud concerts.
“DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO!” This time all of the notes hurt. Amy winces in pain.
“RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE!” Amy puts her hands to he ears to try and muffle the noise, but it doesn't really help. She feels a pounding headache coming on.
“FA FA FA FA FA FA FA FA FA!” Amy can't stand it any more as the singer commences her latest arpeggio. Each note seems to be stabbing straight through her ears and into her brain, when suddenly... The pain stops. At the highest note, something snaps. Amy's arms fall to her side and her knees bend as her feet drift outward. Her mouth slackens as a blank look takes over her eyes. Slowly, drops of gray matter begin trickling out of her ears. Soon Amy's brain lies in a liquefied puddle on the floor.
Some people just can't appreciate good music!
Amy is in no condition to continue this adventure or her life.
