After the blur of Jenna’s light as she chaotically flew about trying to hide from what they thought might
be the troll coming, Rosella found herself completely at a loss for direction. She was standing on the
board over the gaping chasm, with no idea which way she was facing now, and one wrong step could
send her to her doom. Logically she decided to wait for Jenna to return, and the safety of the fairy’s light
to guide her to solid ground. And while Rosella was a feather of a girl, the groaning board had had
enough of her petulance, parting into splinters and dumping the spoiled princess gleefully into the
darkness below. Rosella tumbled past Jenna’s floating body screaming helplessly as she watched the
glow of the fairy get smaller and smaller. Jenna could do nothing to help, covering her ears from Rosella’
s cries. Letting the poor princess fall to her death made her feel kind of bad, but then again, she never
saw her surviving the adventure anyway. Jenna floated away to wait for someone else to come along and
save Tamir.
